Domestic Violence: A special episode of The Nan Ross Show

20 August 2010 4 Comments

My friend and colleague Nan Ross pays tribute to her sister Karline Ross-Gray, who was murdered by her husband after a domestic dispute. She brings light to the subject by showcasing instances of domestic violence in the lives of others. Listen to how domestic violence has affected not only Nan, but her guests on the show. But more importantly, she delves into the issue of domestic violence and shows you a way out.

Don’t judge, just listen and act.

I applaud her (I couldn’t see the video for some reason ) but it is just a very sad fact of life for way too many people. I am trying to educate people as well, as I too could have very easily become another statistic.
Thank you for showing this. I will try back later to see if the video will work….

    Hi Suzie,
Thanks for checking out the link. I re-uploaded the video link. it could have been the website itself or a connection issue, but hopefully it works now. I tested it on my end and it played, who knows.

But I am with you on becoming another statistic, I was in an abusive marriage myself and got out alive. I thank God everyday for it too. It is so prevalent and unfortunately we don’t hear about it enough until something tragic happens. Thank God I am married to an awesome man now. Congratulations to you also for NOT becoming a statistic.
